A 1910 Kitchen

I love this picture! Notice the fruit jars on the back wall. There are quarts and half gallons, and all are shoulder seals, meaning the lid comes down flat on the jar, as opposed to screwing down on a bead of glass like we have now (called a bead seal). Looks like they've written the contents on the glass. You can see that if you click the picture to enlarge it. Notice the enamel kitchenware and crocks...popular items at auctions today.
